NEW! Chris Jensen Health + Rehabilitation Center Outdoor Visiting Program Details

Updated as of September 8, 2020 at 5:21 p.m. CDT

Dear Residents, Families, Staff, and Friends of Chris Jensen Health + Rehabilitation Center,

We are delighted to share good news regarding our phased reopening plan: a new Outdoor Visiting Program available for families and friends of our residents, starting September 9, 2020. The Minnesota Department of Health has provided guidance so we may safely welcome visitors to join us outside. To safeguard the health and wellness of our residents, visitors, and our staff, outdoor visits will be limited and structured differently than what we are accustomed to.

At this time, indoor visit restrictions continue with exceptions only for essential health care personnel and compassionate care situations.

Please see our details regarding this Outdoor Visiting Program.  There are also links at the bottom of this page we ask you to read through. Please carefully review all information as there are specific requirements you must follow while planning to visit and during your visit on Chris Jensen Health + Rehabilitation Center’s grounds.

We will keep you updated via Facebook, our website, and our voice messaging service regarding any changes in our outdoor visitation schedule as well as any further details regarding our reopening plan. Biweekly communication about our COVID-19 prevention and response efforts will also continue via our voice messaging service, emails, and letters.

We understand how difficult not seeing your loved one has been for you and your family. Although the lack of social contact with your loved ones has been challenging, your cooperation has prioritized our residents’ safety throughout the last few months. We deeply appreciate every sacrifice made— you are an invaluable member of the Chris Jensen Health + Rehabilitation Center family.

The Coronavirus pandemic will likely impact our operations for months to come. Therefore, we continue to remind everyone just how important it is to take precautions against this virus. Wearing masks, washing our hands, practicing social distancing, and sanitizing high-touch areas will help us limit the spread of this virus.

We look forward to seeing you outside, enjoying Minnesota’s beautiful, autumn days with our residents. Thank you again for your ongoing support and collaboration.

Chris Jensen Health + Rehabilitation Center reserves the right to change or limit our Outdoor and Window Visiting programs as needed to safeguard everyone’s health and safety. All residents, family and staff will be informed as soon as possible following any adjustment to these programs.
